Moody Gardens

Moody Gardens® is a non-profit educational and leisure destination located in Galveston, Texas. Established in 1986 by The Moody Foundation, it spans approximately 242 acres and attracts around two million visitors each year. The facility combines education, conservation, rehabilitation, recreation, and research, operating under a public, non-profit model.

The complex features a variety of attractions, including the Rainforest Pyramid, which houses over 1,700 exotic species, and the Aquarium Pyramid, one of the largest aquariums in the world. Other highlights include the Discovery Pyramid with interactive science exhibits, Palm Beach, a seasonal family beach attraction, and the MG 3D Theater Complex, which includes the first IMAX 3D theater in America. Moody Gardens also offers therapeutic services, educational programs, and a convention center with flexible event space, catering to a diverse audience that includes families, tourists, schools, and business clients.
