Dr. Gerry Robles is a performance physical therapist and the founder of APT Physical Therapy, where he executes a movement-first approach to rehabilitation. Operating outside the traditional corporate clinic model, Robles produces The Art of Wellness podcast, a series that explores the intersection of injury recovery, combat sports training, and healthcare ethics. He frequently collaborates with industry experts like combat coach Ramy the Giant and pelvic floor specialist Dr. Julia Rosenthal to dismantle common medical myths, such as the direct link between posture and pain. His clinical focus utilizes graded exposure and load management to build physical resilience in lifters and fighters. A recent focus includes the launch of his Men’s Health series, which addresses the often-overlooked role of pelvic floor therapy in male athletic performance. By prioritizing the biopsychosocial model of pain, Robles assists athletes in Naperville and Chicago through 1:1 remote and in-person coaching, emphasizing active movement over passive modalities.
