Compliance

Data & compliance

How SpotsNow MCP handles data, connections, and compliance.

Your data

Data handling practices

  • The connection is read-only and one-way: your AI assistant pulls podcast advertising intelligence from SpotsNow. SpotsNow never accesses, stores, or trains on your proprietary data, and your spend, fill rates, and internal files stay on your side.
  • Access is controlled through OAuth. Permissions are scoped to what you authorize during setup, and you decide who on your team can connect and what they can query.
  • You can revoke access at any time from your MCP client or your SpotsNow account. Disconnecting immediately stops all data access.

Integrations

Third-party connections

  • The SpotsNow MCP server connects only to the MCP clients you explicitly authorize: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any other MCP-compatible assistant.
  • Your prompts and conversations are handled by your AI assistant under its own terms. SpotsNow only receives the tool-call parameters needed to answer a query, for example a show name, brand domain, or category, and returns results from our dataset.
  • SpotsNow does not sell or share your queries or account information with any other third parties.

Health data

Health data access

  • SpotsNow does not access, collect, or process personal health data. No PHI or HIPAA-covered data is involved at any point.
  • References to "Health & Wellness" in our tools and results are podcast content categories: genre labels used to classify shows and advertisers, not data about individuals or their health.
