Wild Rose Brewery

Wild Rose Brewery is a craft brewery located in Calgary, Alberta, founded in 1996 by Mike Tymchuk and Alan Yule. It was the first new brewery in Alberta in over a decade and has grown from its humble beginnings to a well-known establishment. Currently owned by Sleeman Breweries, Wild Rose maintains its craft beer identity and local roots.

The brewery operates from a historic Quonset hut in the Currie Barracks area, featuring military-themed décor and a taproom that seats about 80 people. The taproom offers a full restaurant menu, including beer-inspired dishes, and is open daily. Wild Rose Brewery produces a variety of craft beers, including award-winning ales and lagers like Cherry Porter and Velvet Fog. They emphasize fresh, local ingredients and offer brewery tours, allowing visitors to learn about the brewing process in a unique setting.
