Overview
Walton Arts Center is Arkansas’s leading performing arts organization, established in 1992 through a partnership involving the Walton Family, the University of Arkansas, and the city of Fayetteville. It operates several venues, including its original performing arts center, Nadine Baum Studios, and the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion (AMP), which has become a prominent outdoor amphitheater since its acquisition in 2011.
The organization presents a wide array of performing arts, including theater, music, and dance, while also supporting local arts groups. It is home to four resident companies: the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, TheatreSquared, Trike Theatre for Youth, and the Community Creative Center.
