Waiakea

Waiākea is a premium bottled water company founded in 2012 in Hilo, Hawai‘i. It specializes in Hawaiian volcanic water sourced from the Mauna Loa aquifer system, which is naturally filtered through volcanic rock, enriching it with trace minerals and making it naturally alkaline. The company also offers ready-to-drink coffee made from 100% single-origin Hawaiian coffee beans, along with various bottled water options, including still, sparkling, and boxed water.

Waiākea is dedicated to sustainability and social responsibility. Its bottles are made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials, including the first OceanPLAST® bottle made from recycled ocean-bound plastic. The company is carbon-neutral and actively supports charitable initiatives, such as providing safe drinking water to communities in need. With a workforce of about 70 people, Waiākea products are available nationwide in over 900 retail stores, including major chains like 7-Eleven, and are served on Hawaiian Airlines flights.
