Province of Ontario

The Ontario Government, or Gouvernement de l’Ontario, is the provincial government of Ontario, Canada. It operates under a constitutional framework based on the Westminster parliamentary system, structured into three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. The Legislative Assembly of Ontario, consisting of 124 elected Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs), is responsible for debating and passing laws. The executive branch includes the Premier, the Cabinet, and the Lieutenant Governor, who represents the Monarch. The independent judiciary interprets and applies laws to protect citizens' rights.
