Memorial Hermann

Memorial Hermann Health System is a nonprofit, community-owned healthcare organization based in Southeast Texas, primarily serving the Greater Houston area. It operates 14 hospitals and has partnerships with three additional facilities, including specialized surgical and rehabilitation hospitals. The system was formed through the merger of Memorial Hospital System and Hermann Hospital, both of which have a long history of providing medical care and community service.

The flagship facility, Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, is a private teaching hospital located in the Texas Medical Center. It is a Level I Trauma Center, offering 24-hour emergency and trauma care to over 40,000 patients each year. The health system provides a wide range of services, including emergency care, general surgery, heart and vascular health, oncology, organ transplantation, and pediatrics. Memorial Hermann also engages in community health initiatives, contributing significantly to local health programs and outreach efforts.
