Kia India Private Limited is the Indian subsidiary of Kia Corporation, established in May 2017. The company operates a modern manufacturing facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, with an annual production capacity of approximately 300,000 to 350,000 vehicles. It began mass production in July 2019 with the launch of the Kia Seltos SUV, which has become a popular choice among Indian consumers.

Kia India's product lineup includes the Seltos, Sonet, Carnival, Carens, and the EV6 electric vehicle, all tailored for the Indian market. The company has achieved significant sales milestones, with over 700,000 vehicles sold domestically and more than 100,000 CKD kits exported by May 2023. Kia India aims to enhance customer experiences through its extensive network of over 339 sales and service points, with plans to expand to over 600 locations.

In addition to its commercial efforts, Kia India is dedicated to corporate social responsibility, engaging in initiatives like Project DROP for plastic waste management and the Uphaar tree plantation program. The company invests in employee well-being and has committed over $1.1 billion to its operations in India.
