Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is an educational facility located at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. Opened in 1967, it attracts over 1.5 million visitors each year and is operated by Delaware North under a contract with NASA. The complex spans about 70 acres and is a Smithsonian Affiliate, showcasing authentic artifacts from NASA’s historic space programs.

Visitors can explore a variety of exhibits, including the Apollo/Saturn V Center, which features the Saturn V rocket. The complex offers interactive experiences such as astronaut training simulations and the Shuttle Launch Experience. Educational programs are available both onsite and online, supporting STEM education. Additionally, bus tours provide access to restricted areas of the Kennedy Space Center. The Gateway, a new attraction opened in 2022, highlights future deep space exploration.
