Fundrise is a Washington, D.C.-based real estate investment platform founded in 2010 by Ben and Dan Miller and their co-founders. Launched publicly in 2012, Fundrise aims to democratize real estate investing by making high-quality investments accessible to individual investors. The company offers a simpler and more transparent way to invest in real estate, traditionally dominated by institutions.

Fundrise operates an online platform that allows individual investors to invest directly in commercial and residential real estate projects across the United States. Its offerings include Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), proprietary eREITs and eFunds, and direct real estate offerings. The platform has facilitated over $7 billion in investments and currently manages more than $2.87 billion in equity for over 385,000 investors. Fundrise targets individual retail investors, providing them with a cost-efficient and technology-driven way to diversify their portfolios with real estate assets.
