Eagle Farm

Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is Queensland's leading metropolitan race club, formed on July 1, 2009, from the merger of the Queensland Turf Club and the Brisbane Turf Club. It operates two major racecourses in Brisbane: Eagle Farm and Doomben, both located in Ascot, about 7 kilometers from the city center. BRC hosts over 70 race meetings each year, attracting more than 200,000 visitors. Key events include the Stradbroke Season and the Spring Carnival, featuring prestigious races like the Queensland Guineas and the Stradbroke Handicap.

The Eagle Farm Racecourse has a rich history dating back to 1863 and boasts a wide turf track. Doomben Racecourse complements the club's offerings. BRC is also engaged in a significant development plan valued at $1.2 billion, aimed at enhancing facilities and creating lifestyle and commercial precincts. The club generates revenue primarily from horse and dog racing activities and is led by CEO Tony Partridge and Chairman Neville Bell.
