Australian Skeptics

Australian Skeptics cover a wide range of skeptical issues, including regular analysis of what it means to be a skeptic and how skeptics approach any claim. We apply the scientific method to investigate and review claims that, at first glance, may seem anomalous or at worst unlikely. But however strange these claims may appear, we believe they should be investigated from a scientific perspective to assess whether they have any basis. At 30+ years, we are the third oldest skeptical group in the world. Our quarterly magazine, "The Skeptic" is the world's second oldest skeptical publication, and we have a A$100,000 challenge to anyone who can prove they have a paranormal ability.
