Welch's Fusions

Welch's is a historic American company founded in 1869 by Dr. Thomas Bramwell Welch and his son Charles in Vineland, New Jersey. It is best known for pioneering unfermented grape juice, originally called "Doctor Welch’s Unfermented Wine." The company gained national recognition after its debut at the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago and has become a household name, particularly for its dark Concord grape juice and white Niagara grape juice.

As a farmer-owned cooperative since 1956, Welch's includes about 1,300 grape growers from regions like Michigan, New York, and Ontario, Canada. This close relationship with growers ensures a steady supply of high-quality grapes for its diverse product portfolio, which includes grape juices, jams and jellies, fruit snacks, and organic grape juice. Welch's is headquartered in Concord, Massachusetts, and operates major manufacturing plants, processing approximately 320,000 tons of grapes annually. The company continues to innovate and modernize its facilities while maintaining its commitment to quality grape products.
