Versiti Blood Center

Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization based in Milwaukee, focused on saving lives through blood donation, research, diagnostic testing, and personalized medicine. It serves as the exclusive provider of blood and blood products to over 56 hospitals across 29 counties in Wisconsin. The organization aims to improve patient outcomes and strengthen community health through its various services.

Versiti offers blood donation services, including whole blood, plasma, and platelet donations at multiple locations. It also provides diagnostic laboratory services such as HLA testing and immunohematology reference lab testing. The Blood Research Institute conducts research in hematology to enhance patient care and develop new treatments. Additionally, Versiti operates a Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders and has opened a community resource center called Versiti on King to promote wellness.
