USF Bulls Football

USF Athletics represents the athletic department of the University of South Florida, overseeing its intercollegiate sports programs. Competing in NCAA Division I as a member of the American Athletic Conference, USF offers 20 varsity sports teams, including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and more. Starting in 2025, the department will add a women's beach volleyball team and join Conference USA for that sport.

The department is dedicated to athletic and academic excellence, with student-athletes achieving an average GPA of 3.46 in Fall 2024. USF Athletics provides tailored academic support and a range of services, including intramural sports and fitness programs. The campus features a large fitness center and various wellness activities for the entire student body. The football program, a key focus, has shown significant improvement under head coach Alex Golesh, achieving bowl eligibility and winning the Boca Raton Bowl in 2023. USF Athletics fosters a strong community spirit, symbolized by its mascot, Rocky D. Bull, and the school colors green and gold.
