The University of Austin (UATX) is a private liberal arts university located in Austin, Texas, which opened in September 2024. It was founded to address challenges in higher education, emphasizing free speech, open debate, and rigorous intellectual engagement. UATX offers a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with various concentrations through its interdisciplinary academic centers, including STEM, arts and letters, economics, politics, and history.

The program features an Intellectual Foundations Program for early undergraduates, followed by specialization in academic centers, culminating in the Polaris Project, where students undertake meaningful projects to develop practical skills.
