Tom Coughlin J Fund

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports families of children battling cancer. Founded in honor of Jay McGillis, a young leukemia patient, the foundation aims to alleviate the burdens faced by families during their child's cancer journey. Over its 30+ years, the foundation has provided over $32 million in aid to more than 6,700 families, primarily in Northeast Florida and the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area.

The foundation offers financial assistance for household expenses to families experiencing hardship due to cancer treatment. It also provides a Financial Game Plan Program, which helps families develop strategies to manage the long-term financial impact of childhood cancer. In addition to financial support, the foundation fosters emotional and practical support, creating a community that helps families cope with the challenges of cancer. The primary beneficiaries are families with children and young adults aged 0-22 diagnosed with cancer in the foundation's service areas.
