The Palm

Palm Restaurant Group is a family-owned upscale steakhouse chain founded in 1926 by Italian immigrants Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi in New York City. It is one of the oldest family-owned white tablecloth restaurant groups in the United States, now managed by the third and fourth generations of the founding families.

The company operates around 30 steakhouses in major U.S. cities, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, along with two inns in the Hamptons. The Palm is known for its classic American fine-dining experience, specializing in aged USDA Prime beef steaks and Nova Scotia lobsters, including signature Surf ‘n’ Turf dishes. The restaurants feature a distinctive atmosphere with walls adorned by caricatures of celebrities and loyal customers, theatrical waitstaff, and a tradition of treating guests like family. The Palm also runs a mail-order meat business called Palm Pak, catering to a diverse clientele that includes long-time regulars and notable figures.
