The First Responder Center for Excellence

The First Responder Center for Excellence (FRCE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the health, safety, and wellness of first responders across the nation. Established in 2016, FRCE focuses on education, research, and training to reduce injuries, deaths, and occupational illnesses among firefighters, EMS personnel, and other emergency responders.

FRCE offers a variety of services, including specialized training programs like the Enhanced Stress First Aid (SFA) program, which helps first responders manage stress and mental health challenges. The organization also conducts workshops in collaboration with partners, providing health and wellness training tailored for female first responders. Additionally, FRCE produces educational resources, online modules, and multimedia content on topics such as behavioral health, cancer prevention, and stress management, all aimed at supporting the well-being of those in high-stress emergency roles.
