Tech Barbecue

TechBBQ is Scandinavia's largest startup and innovation summit, founded in 2012 as a Danish non-profit organization. It aims to support and strengthen the Nordic startup ecosystem by bringing together over 7,000 to 10,000 tech entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators annually. The organization is headquartered in Copenhagen and operates with a team of 30 to 200 employees, including many volunteers during events.

The flagship event is an annual summit in Greater Copenhagen, featuring networking opportunities, pitching sessions, workshops, and keynote presentations. TechBBQ also organizes thematic events that address current challenges in the tech industry and provides a platform for startups to showcase their innovations. The organization fosters a community focused on openness and collaboration, aiming to expand its reach globally while maintaining a strong Nordic focus. Plans are in place to host up to 30,000 attendees at the new Bella Center Copenhagen venue starting in 2025.
