Stupski Foundation

The Stupski Foundation is a private philanthropic organization established in 1996 by Larry and Joyce Stupski. It is dedicated to addressing systemic inequities and advancing justice, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and Hawaiʻi. Currently in a strategic spend-down phase, the foundation aims to invest all its remaining assets by 2029 to create lasting change in its focus communities.

The foundation focuses on four key areas: food justice, postsecondary success for students, early brain development for children, and improving serious illness care. It emphasizes trust-based philanthropy, providing flexible, multiyear grants to foster collaboration with community-based organizations, health systems, and educational institutions. The Stupski Foundation is committed to returning its resources to local communities, with a strong emphasis on health equity and social justice initiatives.
