Storm Mountain Development Corporation (Storm Mountain) was formed in 2012. At this time, post-recession land value corrections presented an opportunity for the group to acquire six planned communities in growing regions of British Columbia, from a large Alberta based financial institution.

The Principals of Storm Mountain bring substantial residential and recreational real estate development excellence to the communities they build. The company's financial partner, a global private investment management firm, sought out the most experienced and brightest people in the Real Estate development community and Financial markets to direct Storm Mountain, to think globally and build locally.

The Storm Mountain portfolio is an opportunist, high quality portfolio focused solely on properties in Western Canada that can be bought, improved, joint ventured or fully developed.

Storm Mountain's mandate is to add value to their real estate holdings by designing and building quality communities and homes for its customers and by partnering with premium small and mid-size developers or builders interested in purchasing land parcels, land banking, creative land acquisition and joint venture development relationships. Unlike many master community developers who may be saddled with expensive land acquisition and holding costs, Storm Mountain owns the land with no interest expense allowing a focus on providing premium real estate built to fulfill market needs.
