Spec's Liquor, officially known as Spec's Wine, Spirits & Finer Foods, is a family-owned liquor store chain based in Texas. Founded in 1962 by Carroll B. “Spec” Jackson and his wife Carolynn in Houston, the company has grown from a single neighborhood store to approximately 165 locations across major Texas cities, including Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Galveston. It is currently led by the founders' daughter and son-in-law, John and Lindy Rydman, along with their daughter Lisa Rydman.

Spec's is well-known for its extensive selection of wines, spirits, and beers, offering a variety of brands at competitive prices. The company also features gourmet foods and delicatessen items, such as po’ boy sandwiches and cheeses, which were introduced in the late 1980s. With a strong emphasis on customer service, Spec's has built a reputation for quality and community engagement, appealing to a diverse customer base that includes casual buyers and food enthusiasts alike.
