Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) is New Jersey’s oldest nonprofit, nonsectarian hospital, established in 1865. Located in Livingston, it is a 597-bed academic medical center and a flagship facility within RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated health care system in the state. CBMC is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and serves a diverse patient population, treating over 33,000 inpatients and approximately 95,000 to 100,000 Emergency Department patients annually.

The hospital offers more than 100 medical and surgical specialty services, including New Jersey’s only certified burn center, a leading renal and pancreas transplant program, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
