Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art

The Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art is a nonprofit cultural institution in New York City focused on the art and spiritual traditions of the Himalayan region, including Tibet, Northern India, Nepal, Bhutan, Mongolia, and parts of China. Founded in 2004 by Shelley and Donald Rubin, the museum originated from their extensive private collection and is located in a renovated former Barneys department store.
