Quicksilver

Quiksilver is a well-known Australian brand that specializes in clothing and accessories for board sports, particularly surfing. Founded in 1969 in Torquay by surfers Alan Green and John Law, the company initially focused on creating innovative boardshorts made from durable, quick-drying fabric. Over the years, Quiksilver expanded its product line to include surfwear, snowwear, casual clothing, footwear, and accessories.

The brand has a strong presence in the action sports community, sponsoring around 500 professional and amateur athletes, including notable figures like surfer Kelly Slater and skateboarder Tony Hawk. Quiksilver also launched the Roxy brand in 1990, targeting young women with surf and snow apparel. In 2017, the parent company rebranded to Boardriders, Inc., which now encompasses Quiksilver, Roxy, DC Shoes, and other brands. Quiksilver continues to be a leading name in the global surf and action sports apparel market, recognized for its innovative products and lifestyle appeal.
