Potbelly Sandwich Works, also known as Potbelly Corporation, is a fast-casual restaurant chain founded in 1977 in Chicago, Illinois. Originally an antique store, it transformed into a sandwich shop, named after the potbelly stove in the original location. Today, Potbelly has over 450 locations, including both franchise and company-owned stores, and went public in 2013.
