Marine Toys for Tots

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 1991 to support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots Program. Its mission is to provide hope to economically disadvantaged children by collecting and distributing new, unwrapped toys during the Christmas season. The Foundation is governed by a board of directors made up of veteran Marines and business leaders, and it operates from the Cooper Center near Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia.

The Foundation engages in various activities, including fundraising to supplement local toy collections, creating promotional materials for local coordinators, and managing all funds raised under the Toys for Tots name. It also partners with corporations to generate donations and conducts public education campaigns to encourage community involvement. The direct beneficiaries of its efforts are children across the United States who may not receive gifts during the holidays, along with local coordinators and Marine Reserve units that receive support to run successful campaigns.
