Georgia Farm Bureau

Georgia Farm Bureau (GFB) is the largest voluntary agricultural organization in Georgia, founded in 1937. It represents nearly 400,000 member families, primarily farm families in rural areas. GFB is dedicated to advocating for the agricultural sector, providing leadership, promoting farm products, and serving as a unified voice for farmers in legislative matters at both state and national levels.

The organization consists of 159 county Farm Bureau organizations, each with local governance. GFB supports farm families by promoting agriculture, aiding in procurement, and expanding farm markets. It also established the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company in 1958, offering a variety of insurance options tailored to farmers, business owners, individuals, and families across Georgia. GFB emphasizes local agents, fast claims response, and strong customer service. Additionally, it engages in educational and outreach programs to inform the public about agriculture and farm issues.
