Farm Rescue

Farm Rescue is a nonprofit organization that supports family farms and ranches facing crises such as illness, injury, or natural disasters. Its mission is to help these farm families navigate difficult times by providing essential farm services at no cost.

The organization offers a variety of services, including planting, haying, harvesting, commodity hauling, and livestock feeding assistance. These services are carried out by volunteers using necessary equipment, allowing farm families to complete important seasonal tasks when they are unable to do so. Farm Rescue serves families in seven states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. Since its inception in 2005, it has assisted nearly 1,000 families in maintaining their agricultural operations during challenging periods.

Farm Rescue relies on a community-driven approach, engaging volunteers to operate machinery and securing sponsorships for financial support. This collaborative effort helps sustain family farms and ensures their continuity in the face of adversity.
