Every Meal

Every Meal is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting child hunger in Minnesota. It addresses food insecurity among school-age children, particularly during weekends, summers, and extended school breaks. The primary service offered by Every Meal is its Weekend Meal Program. This program discreetly places bags filled with nutritious food directly into the backpacks of students at partner schools every Friday during the school year. These bags are provided free of charge and serve over 12,000 children weekly across more than 400 school partners in Minnesota. The organization relies on a strong volunteer network, contributing over 13,700 hours annually to support its operations, including packing and distributing food bags.

Every Meal focuses on providing tailored weekend food bags that contain kid-friendly items designed to meet the dietary needs of children experiencing food insecurity. The organization partners with schools to effectively reach and support these children in their communities.
