After relocating to Sidney, Ohio, in 1937, Copeland revitalized its operations and continued to lead advancements in the HVAC sector.

In 1987, Copeland introduced the first American-made scroll compressor for residential markets, marking a significant milestone in HVAC technology.

In June 2024, Copeland became a stand-alone company again, focusing on climate technologies and sustainable solutions.
