Community Radio Network

The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) is the national body representing community radio and television stations throughout Australia. As a not-for-profit cultural organization, CBAA is dedicated to promoting and supporting community broadcasting, which serves diverse groups, including Indigenous Australians and various ethnic, educational, and cultural communities.

CBAA provides leadership, advocacy, and practical support to over 450 community-owned broadcasting services that reach nearly 5 million Australians weekly. Their offerings include the Community Radio Network for content sharing, a Digital Delivery Network for recording and replaying broadcasts, and the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project to support local music. They also offer podcast hosting, sector research through CBOnline, and member services such as advice and dispute resolution. CBAA organizes events like an annual conference and awards to celebrate achievements in the sector.
