Common Spirit Health

CommonSpirit Health is a nonprofit Catholic health system based in Chicago, Illinois. Formed in 2019 from the merger of Dignity Health and Catholic Health Initiatives, it is the largest Catholic hospital chain and the second-largest nonprofit hospital system in the United States. The organization operates over 2,300 care sites, including approximately 137 hospitals across 24 states, and employs around 150,000 staff members along with over 25,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
