CHIRLA

CHIRLA, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles, is a nonprofit organization established in 1986. It is dedicated to advancing the human and civil rights of immigrants and refugees, primarily in the Los Angeles area, while also having a national impact. CHIRLA's mission focuses on creating a just society that is inclusive of immigrants, promoting freedom of movement, human rights, and participatory democracy.

The organization offers a range of services, including community organizing and education to empower immigrant families, legal immigration services to assist with navigating immigration processes, and civic engagement initiatives to encourage participation in democracy.
