Bavaria

Bavaria S.A., also known as Bavaria Brewery, is a prominent Colombian brewery founded in 1889 by German immigrant Leo S. Kopp. Headquartered in Bogotá, it is one of the largest and oldest breweries in South America. Bavaria became a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2016 after AB InBev acquired SABMiller, which had owned the company since 2005.

Bavaria produces a diverse range of beverages, primarily focusing on beers, including its flagship brand Águila, as well as bottled water, fruit juices, and malt beverages. The company serves a wide market across Colombia and extends its reach to countries such as Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Spain. With over 16,000 employees, Bavaria has established a strong distribution network that caters to various consumer segments, from everyday drinkers to those seeking premium options.
