Armscor

Armscor, officially known as Arms Corporation of the Philippines, is a private manufacturer of firearms and ammunition with a history dating back to 1905. Originally starting as a print shop, the company shifted its focus to firearms manufacturing in 1952 after being acquired by the Tuason family. Renamed Armscor in 1980, it has since expanded internationally, establishing facilities in the United States.

The company offers a diverse range of products, including handguns, rifles, shotguns, and over 400 million cartridges annually. It is well-known for the Rock Island Armory (RIA) brand, particularly for its 1911 pistols, which are appreciated for their reliability and performance. Armscor also manufactures firearms for other brands and emphasizes quality control, holding ISO 9001 certification and utilizing advanced manufacturing techniques. With a strong presence in the U.S. market, Armscor serves a wide customer base, including civilian shooters, law enforcement, and military clients.
