Airbus

Airbus is a prominent multinational aerospace manufacturer based in Europe, established in 1970 through a collaboration of French, German, Spanish, and British aerospace firms. It has grown to become one of the largest aerospace companies in the world, primarily recognized for its commercial aircraft, while also being active in the helicopters, defense, and space sectors.

The company is well-known for its innovative aircraft, starting with the A300, the first twin-engine wide-body airliner. Its commercial aircraft lineup includes the A320 family, A330, A340, and the A380, which was the largest passenger airliner until production ended in 2021. Airbus also produces a range of helicopters through its Airbus Helicopters division and develops military aircraft, satellites, and space systems via its Airbus Defence and Space division.
