AHGB

The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) is a UK non-departmental public body established in 2008. It is funded primarily by statutory levies from farmers, growers, and other participants in the supply chain. AHDB aims to enhance the competitiveness, sustainability, and profitability of Great Britain's agriculture and horticulture sectors under the sponsorship of the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

AHDB provides a range of services including research and development, market information and analysis, knowledge transfer, and marketing support. It covers various sectors such as pork, beef, lamb, dairy, cereals, oilseeds, potatoes, and horticulture. The organization collaborates with over 100,000 farming and supply chain businesses across the UK, focusing on improving productivity and sustainability while also developing export markets, particularly in emerging regions like China and the Far East.
