Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is a not-for-profit health system that serves southeastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia. It operates 14 hospitals in various cities, including Barbourville, Hazard, and Beckley, and employs around 6,700 people. With a network of over 1,300 providers, ARH is the largest healthcare provider and employer in southeastern Kentucky and the third-largest private employer in southern West Virginia, serving over 400,000 patients.
